Mother - Not for Sale

Brief: Mother alongside Word on the Curb created a special Create-a-thon bringing 13 up-and-coming filmmakers together to help bring to life some of the great things about working at Mother. The brief I responded to celebrated Mother’s history of being an independent agency and their refusal to be sold in order to maintain their independence.

 

Role: Conceptualised, directed, and edited a 25 second social-first film

 

Creative thinking: Used a simplistic static shot and directing an actor to highlight the many opportunities there were for Mother to be sold and their dedication to remaining independent.

 

Outcome: Featured on Mother’s website and socials, featured press on sites including Little Black Book

 

What it shows: My ability to respond to a creative brief and produce work that achieves the brief’s requests
